Florida Kids Spend Day at The Players
Courtesy of PGA Tour Charities
Thanks to the generousity of the PGA Tour and the enthusiasm of the staff at the Tour Headquarters in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida, the kids at the Florida School For the Deaf got an upclose look at the TPC Stadium Course and the best players in the world. Rob was excited to bring the youth from the school out for a clinic and day at one of the top courses in the world. The Tuesday event started with a morning instruction session and was followed by several hours watching the players practice and play at the tournament course. The kids got to watch such stars at Jose Maria Olazabal, Paul Casey and Luke Donald battle the tough 18th hole and then sit at 17 and observe the players try to hit the elusive island green. Each student got a tournament hat and the traditional camp polo shirt!
