“Drive A Kid to Golf”: A Deaf Mentor Program
With the involvement of an interested adult, kids learn not only the skills of golf in a fun and stress free setting, but also learn from an adult mentor and positive role model, how to:
- Go after their dreams
- Healthy behaviors
- Self-responsibility
- Social skills
- How to have a positive community impact.
Upon completion of the program they, in turn, will become mentors in the future for other deaf youth.
